How do I know my ring size?
You will need a ruler, pen and string to learn how to measure.
A very common question among our customers is: How do I know my ring size? How can I measure?
And in today's post we're going to teach you how to measure your finger so you know the right size when buying. It's really cool when we make a purchase online and as soon as it arrives we can use it, without needing to exchange or adjust it, right?!
There was a time when people were often wary of buying fashion and accessories online, especially because of the size, and this applies to bracelets, rings, clothes, shoes and everything else that requires knowing what size we wear. But nowadays, with the convenience of shopping without leaving home and a greater variety of models than in physical stores, online stores are a great option for shopping, especially because most fashion brands make it easy to exchange items even if the purchase is made online.
Knowing exactly the size of your ring or other accessory, you can buy it with peace of mind and know that you can wear it as soon as it arrives.
Did you know that ring sizes vary from country to country?
An important detail is that if you already have a ring from Amo Berloque or another brand, it will probably be the same size, as our size chart is a national standard, used by the main jewelry stores in Brazil, such as Vivara. If you are used to European sizes like those of Pandora rings, you can check the corresponding ring size in the chart below:
First, choose the finger you want to wear the ring on, after all, fingers are different sizes.
Among the different ring models, there are always those that suit one finger better, for example: the solitaire ring is thin and delicate, usually worn with the wedding ring and on the ring finger. This does not mean that you cannot wear it on other fingers, but the point is that you should measure the ring according to the finger you want to wear it on. Remember that not all fingers are the same size, so if you choose a thumb ring, you should measure your thumb, as it will probably be different in size from the others.
To measure your finger, you should take a string or ribbon and wrap it around your finger and make a small knot. If you need help, ask for help. It is important that it is a ribbon or string without elastic, so that there will be no errors when measuring. If you do not have a string, you can use a strip of paper.
The second step is: after the knot, cut off what is left (the rest of the ribbon or string), leaving it tight and without burrs on your finger, as if it were a real ring. After the ribbon is tight on your finger, without gaps and without being tight, it is time to cut it again to know the length of the string. When you make the cut, place the piece of ribbon on top of a ruler.
That's it! You've measured your finger circumference correctly. Now just check the table below to see which size you fit into:
Method 2: Measure the diameter of a ring you already own
Take a ring that you already own and want to wear on the same finger as the one you intend to buy. Place it on a ruler or tape measure and measure the diameter, not counting the edges of the ring.
Then see the corresponding size in the table below (it is in cm):
